Kondo Simfukwe’s Resignation
As announced in the annual meeting on February 6 and in the morning services on February 7, Pastor Kondo Simfukwe is resigning from his ministry at Christ’s Covenant Church. While Kondo and Melissa love the people and ministry of CCC greatly and they have no plan of where they will minister next, this resignation is an act of obedience to God’s direction at this time. We understand this announcement stirs many personal and logistical questions regarding what comes next at CCC. Pastor Kondo will remain on staff for a minimum of six months to facilitate necessary transitions for the worship ministry and other ministries under his responsibility. We invite your prayers for the Simfukwe family, the Leadership Team, and the CCC body as we seek and anticipate what God has planned for us all in the coming months.
